Keim Spachtel is part of Keim range of fillers for renders and concrete. Keim Spachtel has been specially formulated as a ready to use silicate-based filler for use on interior and exterior mineral substrates.

Best Uses

When using Keim Spachtel as a deep fill filler or for using as a levelling filler for render and concrete before applying silicate emulsion paints, sol-silicate paints, silicate paints or silicate render and embedding reinforcement fabric the layers should be applied between 0 - 3 mm.

Keim Spachtel is applied by trowel, plasterers float or for smaller applications by filling knife and expected consumption is approx. 1.5 kg per m2 per mm of layer thickness. Precise consumption may very depending upon the substrate being repaired. Keim Spachtel contains a small aggregate varying is size from 0 to 0.5 mm.

Application

Ambient and substrate temperature above 5°C and below 30°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight or onto warm surfaces, or if it is raining or with the immediate likelihood of rain. Do not use if overnight frost is expected. For the best finish possible, Promain recommend the use of KEIM's Façade Brush for the best application.
